Telehealth consent (draft)

Draft published early on purpose. There is nothing to consent to today, because no telehealth services exist yet.

1. Why this page exists now

Ruby intends to deliver telehealth care after launch, and only under Black women clinical leadership. We publish the consent skeleton now so the eventual document has a public history instead of appearing fully formed on launch day.

2. What the final consent will cover

Who is providing your care, by name, credential, and licensure state. How asynchronous visits work and what they cannot do. When an in-person exam is required and how referral happens. What care costs, before you pay. How your health information is protected, and the limits of electronic communication. Your right to stop, to ask questions, and to get your records.

3. What we can already promise

Consent language will be in plain words. Off-label use, where a clinician proposes it, will be named as off-label. Emergencies are never telehealth: call 911, or call or text 988 in a mental health crisis.

4. Today

No telehealth services exist at Ruby today. Nothing on this site collects health information, and no consent is requested from anyone.

This document is a working draft published for transparency while Ruby is in preview. It is not in force, no services are sold today, and a counsel-checked final version will replace it before launch.
